Learning Gateway

The 200 brand new top of the range Viglen computers in Weymouth College's Learning Gateway provides access to a wealth of specialist online learning and research resources for all subjects.

The Learning Gateway provides access to virtual learning environments which enhances your study. A team of highly-qualified Learning Gateway Advisors ensure that you are able to make full use of all the resources.

As a Weymouth College student no charge is made for using the Learning Gateway. You will be given your own user account, with space to store your work, and an allocation of free print credits.

The Learning Gateway is open until 8pm most evenings (the full opening times are listed below) and is linked to the Library.

Library

Weymouth College has an excellent Library, with a stock of over 40,000 items. You can view and conduct searches of the Library catalogue at http://library.weymouth.uk

As a student at the College you can borrow up to twelve items at a time from the Library. This includes books, journals, videos, information packs and equipment such as digital cameras. There are no fines, and no charge for supplying items on inter-library loan.

Both the Library and the Learning Gateway have silent study places and photocopiers.
